Pródos Academy

The Way

A front door and a home.

Most families meet us through Dynamos: through soccer, through Robbie, through a teammate's family. Once inside, they discover the academy. The full model is the destination.

The home

The full-time academy: academics, character, creative work, and athletic development in one integrated day, four days a week, grades 3-12. This is where the whole young person is built.

The principles

Our principles of the Pródos Dynamos Way.

Six commitments carry the culture, from the training pitch to the dinner table.

01

Always meet here home

We are building a place like nothing you have ever seen, for all of us to come together through what we share. Our commonality is in our socialization: being where we want to be and doing what we love to do.

02

HEM: human essence manifold

We believe all of us possess a human essence, that at Pródos our youth will be poured into, to produce young scholar-athletes that are fit in moving, thinking, speaking, creating, feeling, being, listening, knowing, and seeing.

03

GIRD: guided intuitive revelation and development

Guided intuition is our academic foundation. We see education as a fulfilled way of living where empowered teachers, mentors, and coaches connect with scholar-athletes through critical thinking, dialogue, sport, food, art, music, dance, theater, design, gardening, journaling, farming, entrepreneurship, fishing, and science experiments.

04

We are the curriculum

As loving your neighbor as yourself. As loving all of our youth as our own. We are the curriculum simply means that on a given day our youth are being shown the way by those setting the course that have already run the race.

05

The double entendre of discipline

Instilling the disciplines of preparation, organization, readiness, and timeliness into our young scholar-athletes as a consistent approach to how our youth fulfill the pursuit of their chosen endeavor. The authority is in playing the game. The discipline of disciplines as a way of turning practice into progress, where our youth are conditioned to thrive and be free in who they are.

06

Pródos as home away from home

By creating a positive and stable environment with aligned family values between Pródos and the home, we believe this integrated continuity will benefit our young scholar-athletes' ability to freely express who they are. Within a four-day school week, our youth live out a consistent schedule that allows more time with their family, while maintaining empowered progress in academics and sport.

A typical week

How the two sides share one week.

The week is built so each side makes the other stronger.

Monday–Thursday

The integrated Pródos day: Zero Hour life skills, communal gathering, training, academics, and electives, with weekly Monday field trips into the city.

Friday

Training, family, and recovery. Elite training with Dynamos, tournament travel, and time at home; the week is built so both sides strengthen each other.

Weekend

Matchday. The same principles a student practices in the classroom show up on the pitch, with the same coaches watching for them.

Why families move

From three practices a week to the full model.

A Dynamos family already trusts the coaches, the standard, and the culture. The academy completes the picture: the same principles, the same people, and a school day built around the athlete. Families come home to one place.

The same standard follows my daughter from the classroom to the training pitch. That consistency changed her year.
