Pródos Academy

Academic model

Guided intuition is our academic foundation.

We see education as a fulfilled way of living, where empowered teachers, mentors, and coaches connect with scholar-athletes through critical thinking, dialogue, sport, and the whole width of a real life. Monday through Thursday carries the day; Friday belongs to training and family.

The rhythm

One integrated day, four days a week.

The same rhythm carries every grade, Monday through Thursday. Mondays add our weekly field trip: real experiences, events, educational resources, and real-world lessons across Phoenix.

7:00am

Zero Hour

The day starts with life skills: how to fish, how to make breakfast, how to follow a recipe, how to do a chore. Older athletes rotate through speed and weight training.

8:00am

Communal gathering & morning meditation

The whole academy gathers to start the day present and together, grounded in HEM: the human essence manifold.

9:00am

Training

Private group training by age and skill at a 7:1 ratio, with increased intensity and detail as athletes advance.

11:00am

Lunch, English & Literature

A shared meal flows into English and Literature. Older groups add weekly film study and tactical review.

12:45pm

Math & Science

Online Math and Science, guided in the room by our academic coach.

2:15pm

Electives

Food, art, music, dance, theater, design, gardening, entrepreneurship, and more, taught by the people who lived them.

Friday belongs to training, family, and recovery. A consistent four-day schedule gives our youth more time with their families while maintaining empowered progress in academics and sport.

The foundation

A verifiable academic foundation.

Great Hearts partnership

Our academic core runs on a partnership with Great Hearts, the classical education network Phoenix families already know and trust.

Grades 3-12

One place carries a student from the early years through graduation: one culture, one language, one family.

Covered by ESA

Pródos is an approved Arizona ESA Vendor, and we currently offer what we provide strictly for the cost of ESA funding and minimal registration fees.

For most families, Arizona’s ESA program covers all of this.
