Pródos Academy

Pródos Academy · Phoenix, Arizona

Making our youth fit to live fulfilled.

A faith-based, family-centered private academy for grades 3-12. We believe all of us possess a human essence, that at Pródos our youth will be poured into, to produce young scholar-athletes that are fit in moving, thinking, and feeling.

Who we are

Our vision, mission, approach, and way.

Vision.

To give our youth a place, an environment, a home for their empowered progress. Where we as servant leaders, in humility and by our faith, come together to nurture our youth. We are the curriculum, as a way of fulfilled living where teachers, mentors, and coaches connect with scholar-athletes through critical thinking, dialogue, and sport to be who they are.

Mission.

To guide a young scholar-athlete's intuition so that one can live in the power of freedom over fear. To curate our youth's human essence by pouring out to make clear the spirit in them all. That our youth live fulfilled.

Approach.

In knowing who we are, being who we are, and expressing our authority in showing up and being present, we are taking ownership over culture so we can change it. Our belief being, that our youth will best develop and strengthen just as we were developed and strengthened by our parents, coaches, leaders, and teachers.

Way.

The Pródos Dynamos way is a culture, that through unity and our family-centered approach, will provide each of our youth a complete and comprehensive experience. That in this experience is the opportunity for our youth to be present and free in every moment.

The principles

Our principles of the Pródos Dynamos Way.

01

Always meet here home

We are building a place like nothing you have ever seen, for all of us to come together through what we share. Our commonality is in our socialization: being where we want to be and doing what we love to do.

02

HEM: human essence manifold

We believe all of us possess a human essence, that at Pródos our youth will be poured into, to produce young scholar-athletes that are fit in moving, thinking, speaking, creating, feeling, being, listening, knowing, and seeing.

03

GIRD: guided intuitive revelation and development

Guided intuition is our academic foundation. We see education as a fulfilled way of living where empowered teachers, mentors, and coaches connect with scholar-athletes through critical thinking, dialogue, sport, food, art, music, dance, theater, design, gardening, journaling, farming, entrepreneurship, fishing, and science experiments.

04

We are the curriculum

As loving your neighbor as yourself. As loving all of our youth as our own. We are the curriculum simply means that on a given day our youth are being shown the way by those setting the course that have already run the race.

05

The double entendre of discipline

Instilling the disciplines of preparation, organization, readiness, and timeliness into our young scholar-athletes as a consistent approach to how our youth fulfill the pursuit of their chosen endeavor. The authority is in playing the game. The discipline of disciplines as a way of turning practice into progress, where our youth are conditioned to thrive and be free in who they are.

06

Pródos as home away from home

By creating a positive and stable environment with aligned family values between Pródos and the home, we believe this integrated continuity will benefit our young scholar-athletes' ability to freely express who they are. Within a four-day school week, our youth live out a consistent schedule that allows more time with their family, while maintaining empowered progress in academics and sport.

The environment

Life at Pródos.

Training, gathering, cooking, creating: the day as our families live it, across Camelback Bible Church, Dynamos Field, and The Dynamos House on Broadway.

The Way

One ecosystem. A front door and a home.

Most families enter through Dynamos, through soccer, through Robbie. Pródos is where the full model lives.

Pródos Academy

The home

The full-time academy. Academics, character, and the integrated day, four days a week, for grades 3-12.

Words to Live By

Character is taught, practiced, and assessed.

The operating language our leaders and coaches use with your child every day. Three of the twelve.

01

Freedom over fear

We coach students to compete and create from confidence, in the classroom and on the field.

02

Presence

We pay attention to the person in front of us. Every child is known by name.

03

Ownership

We hand students real responsibility for their work, their word, and their growth.

Families

The families already inside.

We came for the soccer and stayed for the school. Our son is known here, and the academics are real.
